Transformers

Autobots versus Decepticons, Optimus Prime versus Megatron, good versus evil, peace versus chaos and destruction - all that and more can be found in probably any episode of the original, old-school, first-generation Transformers. A robot civilization which takes refuge on earth, being capable of walking among us in broad daylight by simply transforming into something as commonplace as a car, an aeroplane, or even a tape recorder - what an idea. Of course, there's evil robots, a robot planet, and friendship with adolescent humans as well. And, an animated movie starring the very Orson Welles and Leonard Nimoy, amongst others, as voice actors, and featuring an incomparably gripping hard rock soundtrack. And, last but not least, a myriad of astoundingly captivating toys for the average fan kid.

Movie Theme Song Performed by a band called Lion - a name which basically already says everything - and also featured in full on the Transformers - The Movie soundtrack, this in-movie shortened version is a radically different take on the original series' theme song, poundingly fuelled by everything old-school metal. Fascinating. comment lyrics, chords, guitar tablature
Nothin's Gonna Stand in Our Way Also from the Transformers - The Movie album, this mean tune, by an obscure band going by the name of Spectre General, features loads of vintage metal guitar, including a top-notch solo, and some manic vocals, not to mention the lyrics, which are destined to punch you awake, '80s heavy-stuff style. comment, chords, guitar tablature -
