When I started this website many years ago, and it still had a simple one-page layout, there used to be the opportunity to join my MIDI Mailing List via a simple e-mail form. As its name suggests, the idea was that you could give me your name and e-mail address, and you would get any new MIDI file I'd create, hot from the oven. And indeed, people actually took said opportunity frequently, so that before I knew it, I was sending out new MIDI files to people from all over the place. Technically, the list was an example of simplicity, as I merely collected those e-mail addresses via the forms I received, and put them into my address book. No external applications, and certainly no shady marketing deals! Of course, times changed and privacy became more of a pressing matter in the face of malignant scripts, programs and users, and even more obviously, MIDI became more of an acquired taste. In plain terms, new subscribers these days practically number zero, so if I may, I will lay the MIDI Mailing List to rest once and for all. Many thanks go out to all those that have subscribed in the past, and the now-disabled form below stands as a nostalgic monument to their interest in my MIDI making! |
